History:

The Royal Marines Association was originally formed in 1946 to foster the strong sense of comradeship, which spans every rank of the Royal Marines from Cadet to retired General. The Association, therefore, provides the backbone of the ‘cradle to the grave’ membership of the Corps Family. Every serving Marine and Reservist is automatically a member through the Corps subscription and many retired Royal Marines join one of the 89 branches located in the United Kingdom or overseas. Today the Association is some 14,000 strong.
